SUCCESS NUDGETS FROM DR. DAVID OYEDEPO (CULLED FROM UNDERSTANDING THE DEMANDS OF SUCCESS PT. 1A)

Success is our birthright as believers and members of the body of Christ but until we take responsibility, it will never become a reality. No one ever wins a price in any race without pressing. It takes faith, discipline, sacrifice and diligence to emerge a star in any field. No one excels in any endeavor without adequately exercising himself unto exploits. We don’t wait for success, we work at it. Waiting for success is waiting for failure. There is always what to do to succeed. It is not enough to discover it but much more important to engage it.

We must respond practically to God’s word to attain lasting success. There is nothing fake about God’s word it is our fake approach to it that deprives us of its benefit. When we discover the facts of success and run with it, I’ll be scaling new heights.

We can’t succeed by tricks but by applied truth. Things only fall on their own and nothing rises on its own, there must be a force pushing it, a force must be engaged. We can’t become men and women of impact by wishing but by doing what it takes. Breakthrough in life is a covenant and not a promise. Until we adequately do my part, God is not permitted to do His part.

Spiritual empowerment is one of the key requirements of success (a great door and effectual is opened unto me but there are many adversaries). (Zechariah 4:17-21) – There are forces resisting our rising that’s why we need empowerment. Men and women of exploits in the kingdom are those who pay adequate attention to the requirement of spiritual empowerment.

(2 Chronicles 22:7) – we need anointing to destroy the arm of the enemy over our life. Not everyone is happy with our success. We need to be enrobed with power. We need to be empowered for success and exploits. (Luke Chapter 9 verses 1 to 2). We can’t deliver our mission without empowerment. It takes empowerment to command exploits. (Isaiah 45:1-3). We must get empowered so that no force can stop us. We need to invest time to ensure we remain empowered to overcome and always remain the forces of the wicked.

(Prayer Point: Lord, I need a change of level in the school of power).

(Isaiah 61:1-4). The anointing empowers us for breakthroughs. (Isaiah 61:4-7). (Joel 2:21-26).

Spiritual empowerment is our gateway to a world of exploits. I need empowerment because my education and skill is not enough. Nobody ever gets empowerment without a desperation for it.
